Food Journal 4/20 – 4/26/15

Well, this was probably one of my worse weeks (as far as carb intake) that I can remember in a long time.  The signals that my body was sending me, reminding me again, too much!!   I made “Organic Donuts”, if there is such a thing, for my mom’s 91st birthday….oh, delish and sweet memories!  This is a recipe from my grandmother and who knows how far back it goes, but they are awesome.  I used the cleanest of ingredients that I could find.  Another night I went out for dinner with friends, and yet another night I went for a wine-tasting with the girls.  So, it really was an awesome week, just the carb intake took a toll.  But, it is what it is, get over it and move on.

2 c green tea…lunch/snack….1.5 c chicken bone broth with butter 1 T, 2 T sunflower seed butter, 1 slice Paleo Toast with butter 1T and sunflower seed butter, celery, 1/4 c macadamia nuts, psyllium husk, kombucha….dinner….1 bottle of Strongbow Cider beer, sweet potatoe fries, burnt ends (BBQ) 1 4oz vodka and water with lime/lemon….total carbs 88
